Chelichele Natural – 87 +

Chelichele Natural comes from the Chelichele area in the Gedeb region of Ethiopia, one of the best-known microregions producing highly aromatic and fruit-forward coffees. The coffee cherries are sourced from smallholder farmers growing traditional heirloom varieties at elevations around 2,000 metres above sea level, where slower cherry maturation contributes to dense beans and a more complex flavour profile. The natural processing highlights the coffee’s inherent sweetness and vibrant fruit character, revealing notes of strawberry, red berries, and tropical mango complemented by delicate floral aromatics. During roasting, we focused on preserving the lot’s juiciness and clarity so its character can shine both as a filter brew and as a modern fruit-forward espresso.
